Working pattern: 17.5 hours per week – worked over 3 days to include Tuesday and Friday (working pattern to be negotiated).
Salary: £27,711 per annum pro-rata (actual salary £13,856 per annum) plus 6% employers pension contribution
Annual Leave: 26 days per year plus Bank Holidays (pro rata)
Contract duration: Permanent
Location: At the East Sussex Community Voice (ESCV) office in Eastbourne and some remote working/working from home, with travel to other locations as required.
East Sussex Community Voice are seeking an Information and Signposting Advisor to support people with their health and care enquiries as part of our Healthwatch East Sussex programme.
We are looking for an individual who is empathetic, demonstrates integrity, works effectively independently and as part of a team, and strives for excellence in everything they do.
Our Information and Signposting Advisors provide information to the public and patients, signpost to services, and offer non-clinical advice via helpline, emails, face-to-face events and outreach sessions.
We use what we hear to inform developments in the design, planning and delivery of NHS, County Council, and other local services.
This interesting and varied role is supported by a small team of colleagues, including another part-time Information & Signposting Advisor.
